VIDEO: Torres and Gerrard talk after Anfield reunion

THE All-Star charity game at Anfield on Sunday saw Fernando Torres reconciled with Liverpool supporters four years after his shock departure from the club. After the game the players were at the Hilton in Liverpool for further celebrations and Torres spoke on the red carpet with Steven Gerrard.

Reds captain Gerrard, who leaves the club himself at the end of the season, was one of the two captains for the day as his side took on Jamie Carragher’s in a game raising funds for the LFC Foundation.

The game ended 2-2, Carragher’s XI taking the lead with a goal from Mario Balotelli before going further ahead courtesy of Torres’s former Chelsea team mate Didier Drobga.

Gerrard got both his side’s goals, both from the spot, starting with the equaliser just before the break.

The charity fixture featured a number of LFC past players making a temporary return to Anfield, including Luis Suarez, Pepe Reina, Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia, along with stars from elsewhere including French legend Thierry Henry.

Gerrard pulled a goal back before the break from the spot and added another penalty in the second half to ensure the game finished in a draw.
