REDS legends Tommy Smith and Ron Yeats will be joining authors Arnie Baldursson and Gudmundur Magnusson in Liverpool to sign copies of ‘Liverpool: The Complete Record’ this weekend.

Liverpool - The Complete Record

Smith and Yeats will be signing copies of 'Liverpool - The Complete Record'

The four will be in Waterstones in Liverpool One from 11am tomorrow (Saturday) signing copies of a book that is unrivalled in its details of every single season since Liverpool’s formation in 1892. The authors have gone to painstaking lengths to ensure the accuracy of the information in a book that is, as you might imagine, rather weighty.

Tommy Smith earned the nickname ‘Anfield Iron’ during his time as Liverpool’s hard man, with Ron Yeats the man Shanks referred to as ‘The Colossus’. Both players are responsible for many of the happier memories that make up the history of the club with 18 league titles and 5 European Cups.

The duo will join the authors just a few hours before Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Norwich giving supporters an ideal opportunity to buy a personalised copy for a loved one at the time of year when most people are scratching their heads wondering what to buy the Liverpool fanatic in their life!

As an extra bonus the publishers will be giving away free limited edition prints of Liverpool star Steven Gerrard when customers buy a copy at the signing: “Lucic’s amazing series of football portraits, Sucker For Soccer , have been an internet sensation and featured across the global media. Featuring a litany of football greats – from Puskas to Pele and Zico to Zidane – they combine breathtaking design with some of the unmistakeable magic of the beautiful game.

“Printed on 170gsm chlorine free recycled paper, these beautiful prints are not available anywhere else and will be considered collector’s items in years to come.”

If you can’t make the signing you can still order a copy of Liverpool – The Complete Record from Waterstones online with free delivery in the UK.
