The documentary following Liverpool Football Club and commissioned by Fox Soccer gets it premier in the US on Sunday September 16th and will be shown in the UK by Channel Five. Ahead of that Fox have released a 4-minute trailer as a taster of what to expect.
The filming for the six part series began with Kenny Dalglish as boss and Liverpool aiming to add the FA Cup to the Carling Cup they’d won a couple of months before. It continues on past the end of Dalglish’s reign and into the early days of Brendan Rodgers’ career as Liverpool manager with a promise of footage gained from unprecedented access behind the scenes at Anfield and Melwood.
As for the trailer, as well as a little glimpse into a recording of the radio version of The Anfield Wrap there’s some words from Brendan Rodgers, including one of the little sayings that’s likely to become a catchphrase before too long, this one being “It’s all part of the dance.”
Liverpool play their second pre-season friendly, the second of their three-match tour of North America, on Wednesday night at 11.30pm UK time. The game will be shown live in the UK on ESPN.
