Thank you for saying what we all think. We've been led down the garden path by a couple of conmen (in Texas they say snake oil salemen, apparently)! just hope Rafa is reading this and the players keep the faith too. Let's hope a proper buyer steps in and sorts this out. Rafa, eres el jefe para siempre! YNWA

An exellent article.Chelsea lost their best ever manager:mourinho because of their owner who is only intrested in making money and has no passion for the club.We shud not do the same, benitez needs to have a meeting with the board to sort out the issue.I wouldn't lyk him to go anywhere because he will do so well where ever he goes.If hicks and gillet want success they need to pump in some money now,if they dont have they'l have to get another loan.id say a good striker(huntelaar/berbatov) and 2 wide players(silva, queresma).they would cost about 50m.we can still win the league/fa cup/uefa.the money from any trophy can pay fo the loan.rafa also needs to pick his team better and not jus play any1.if they dnt perform sell them.sell sissoko, crouch, voronin, pennant and buyworld class players.i know i talk bullshit but im pissed

It would seem that some of Hicks or Gilletts family members are leaving posts on here as well - drivel in my opinion. The investment in comparison in terms of miney or time with our rivals does not stand scrutiny and if you buy into the idea of LFC why the hell aren't you (the owners Hicks and Gillett) giving Rafa your unequivocal support?

Hicks and Gillette have done everything to appease Rafa and us this summer with huge signings. A record ammount for Torres, yet all Rafa does is complain about transfers. If your boss gave you more money to do your job and yet the results were the same and you still complained about getting even more money, surely you would get the sack! Rafa has spent money and yet we are still no closer to winning the title than last season, even with Torres’ current form. Rafa had little business to go and air our dirty laundry. He showed a complete lack of respect for the owners. They wanted to see what the results would be of their huge summer spending spree before deciding whether to continue opening the check book. I, like many Liverpool supporters are anxious for results but I am realistic about spending the ownership spending money. I believe as owners they have every right to see if their money is being spent wisely. Is our team better than last season? That is the question? I see our results are not improving at all. We haven’t beaten the other so-called big 3 teams. We draw at home to weaker sides. We fail to unlock defences in away matches. All the Yank owners have done is spend money and yet the fans are still not happy with them? If anything Rafa is the one who should be drawing the ire of the club’s supporters, with the poor performances and disrespecting the ownership by talking to the over-aggressive English media, who print absolute non-sense and half-truth stories. Hicks admitted to speaking to Klinsmann but as a precautionary measure if Rafa “walked”. Not that he ever was going to replace him. “We attempted to negotiate an option,” Hicks told the Liverpool Echo. “It was as an insurance policy, to have him become manager if Rafa left for Real Madrid or other rumoured clubs. “Or in case our communication spiralled out of control for some reason.” The owners who have had control of the team less than a year deserve to prove themselves. Much as the Glazer’s had to at UTD. We as a club need to stop listening to the media. They would like nothing more to see the demise of our great club and take pride in building and then tearing down teams and people. YNWA.

Rafa flushed the yanks out over having no serious money for transfers. The only way to get shut of them and that prick Parry is to make your views heard at the match. Banners, chants the lot, "Yanks Out" "Parry Out" Keep the pressure on.

Lets just hope the the Arabs come back in and buy the club or the club will be paying back 35-40 million pounds back every in interest on the loans they are trying to take on on the clubs back.

Love this article....
Rafa is building and, left to it, will be ready to challenge seriously next season. Anything we get this year is a bonus. At the start of the season most of us said 'yeah, it'd be great to win the prem, but realistically, as long as we close the gap, it shows we're improving'. Well, we're improving. The nonsense behind the scenes seems to be destabilising what momentum we had built up, though.
Rafa stick in there lar! And the rest of us...ignore the kneejerking eejits who ring the stations and say they want Rafa gone. Half of them are United fans havin' a laugh anyway.

Please send this article to every LFC fan you know....

All the talk is important and admirable, but we need to send out a message and make things very uncomfortable for the owners. And to do that we need to organize opinion AND action globally.

Perhaps we can be the force that pushes them over the edge...it is possible. This club means too much to us all to let these jokers bring it crashing to the ground.

Shanks and Bob will be turning in their graves.

Rafa's vision is unfolding in front of our eyes people and I for one am both excited and loving watching the ground-up transformation! Rafa will continue to leave no stone unturned as he is obsessed with Liverpool, literally to the bone. He is learning, adapting, implementing and affecting positive change systematically and progressively.

Those 'FANS' able to see the big picture understand as clear as day that Rafa is already exceeding the sum of the parts made available to him by H&G. Rafa is building for a SUSTAINABLE successful future on the pitch, not just for today. His vision is a rare quality.

Where we are right now under the circumstances is solely down to Rafa and his staff and its all been acheived in the face of extreme adversity!

I work in investment banking, so I know the difficulties H&G are facing in the credit markets and believe me, the situation is dire such that we are on the brink of the worst credit crunch for 20 years or more! This is their preoccupation, along with protecting their already vast fortunes and they will do so at the expense of Liverpool FC if we allow it.

H&G are not fans of Liverpool or even football, they are private equity financiers first and foremost!

So I appeal to those who have forgotten what being a Liverpool fan is. Take yourselves out of the present and remember what our club has endured in our history and you will see there is only one solution and one allowable outcome. Rafa must stay!

Lastly, I have to commend Jim Boardman for an excellent summation of the abhorent events we are witnessing at our beloved club. Glad I found you fella, keep up the good work!
